You have taken the first step towards a path less travelled, and psychotherapy is here to help you. I am a qualified and experienced Psychodynamic Psychoterapist, dedicated to helping individuals
understand and work through their inner conflicts and emotions.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is based on the belief that our past experiences and unconscious thoughts and feelings can have a significant impact on our current behaviour and relationships. By exploring these unconscious patterns and how they relate to our present-day experiences, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their actions, and work towards resolving emotional difficulties they may be experiencing. There are many issues which can be worked with in therapy, some of them might be clearer than others but some are still unknown to us. Do you sometimes ask yourself why you react in a certain
way or why some of your behaviour gets on the way from you achieving your happiness?

I am a qualified Psychodynamic psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am also a Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. In Brazil, I am registered with the Conselho Regional de Psicologia of São Paulo.
I initially graduated in Psychology in Brazil and went on to train in Psychodynamic psychotherapy in the UK. I also trained in Trauma and Psychoanalysis at the Tavistock Clinic in London. I have extensive experience working with teenagers, adults and the elderly in educational, community and health sectors. I have worked within diverse boroughs in London with people from all walks of life providing long-and short-term psychotherapy. I have a special interest in working with expats and people from different cultures. I offer psychotherapy in English and Portuguese. In my private practice I offer therapy to clients who are based in various parts of the world, including United Kingdom, Europe and Americas.
